How we list providers
We list our providers by category and location. Business clients can ask for the named list at support@soundtoscript.com. We're putting data processing agreements in place with each provider that handles client data, and we update this page whenever a category or location changes.
Website hosting and server processing
Runs the website, the upload and quote steps, and the payment pages. Handles everything you send through the site while it is being processed. Location: United States and a global network.
File storage and order records
Stores your recordings, documents, drafts and order records in private storage. Recordings and documents are deleted 90 days after upload. Location: a global network, with data held in the United States and other countries.
Automated speech recognition
Produces the first-pass draft that our editors correct, and measures recording length. Receives the audio. Configured so it cannot keep recordings or use them to train its models. Location: United States.
AI language processing
Tidies the optional free preview and helps flag difficult audio. Receives short transcript excerpts only, through zero-data-retention routing. Location: United States.
Transactional email
Sends quotes, receipts and delivery emails. Handles your name, email address, order reference and file names. Location: United States.
Security and bot protection
Protects our forms from automated abuse and counts anonymous page views without cookies. Handles IP addresses and browser signals. Location: global network.
Internal team notifications
Alerts our team to new orders and messages so we can respond quickly. Handles order details and contact details. Location: global.
Link imports (when you send a link)
A cloud server that fetches media from a link you give us and passes it straight to our private storage without keeping it. Location: confirmed on request.
Payments (independent provider)
Paystack processes card and M-Pesa payments on its own secure pages as an independent controller. We never see your card details.
Consent-based analytics
Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity if switched on, run only after you accept analytics cookies, never on payment pages, and never receive your name, email, phone number or file names. Location: United States.
Our own team
Editors and quality reviewers in Kenya work on your files under confidentiality agreements. They are our staff and contractors, not third-party providers.
