Ready for coding and analysis
Transcripts arrive as DOCX or TXT that import cleanly into NVivo, ATLAS.ti, MAXQDA or a spreadsheet. Tell us your labelling scheme and timestamp interval in the notes, and we follow it.
Overlapping speech is the hardest part of group interviews, and it is one of the things every recording is graded for, so a focus group is quoted for the work it takes, before you pay.
Paperwork for your ethics board
Name us in your protocol. Our privacy policy and retention schedule are public and dated, so you can cite them. Our confidentiality agreement and the list of service providers that process client data are available to verified researchers on request. For anything else your board needs, email us before you start.

You pay for the work your recording actually needs, and you see why before you pay.
Measured
Each recording is measured to the second. You pay per audio minute, rounded up once per order, never per file.
Graded A to D
Every recording is graded on how hard it is to transcribe: how clearly the words come through, background noise, recording level, distortion and overlapping speakers.
Shown before you pay
Your quote lists each recording's grade and the reason. Think a grade is wrong? Email us before paying and a person checks it.
Accurate to the audio
What's written is what was said. If a transcript falls short, we re-edit it free, and every grade gets free corrections for 14 days. How the guarantee works

Do you transcribe Swahili or code-switched interviews?
Recordings in a language other than English are quoted by our team rather than automatically. Send them and we confirm what we can deliver, and the price, before you pay.
Do you offer a student or NGO rate?
Not as a published discount yet. Contact us with your project and volume and we'll quote it.
Can I get timestamps for coding?
Yes: every 5 minutes, every 2 minutes, at each speaker change or every 30 seconds, included at no extra cost for now.
